The dedication of Igbo Village took place September 18, 2010 after several years of research, planning, gathering of building materials (most of which came from Nigeria).
An army of volunteers used their bare hands and feet to construct the Village’s mud walls and thatched roofs – just like it was done in a typical Igbo village centuries ago.
